Ferris State University Establishing Cyber Charter School

A Ferris State University charter school is giving some students a second chance in an online environment. The Charter School Office at Ferris is establishing a K-12 cyber charter school. It's hooking up with Connections Academy, an online education organization with 25,000 students in 15 states. It will establish a Michigan organization, based in Lansing that can educate up to 400 students. It's especially designed for students who've made mistakes and can't be in school with their peers. Classes will begin September 7th.
