Lost Port of Mackinac Papers Part Two

By the early 1800's life in the Straits of Mackinac was already old – people had worked and settled the area for more than 100 years. In Part One of the “Lost Port of Mackinac Papers” we told you about the discovery of more than 300 historic documents that are providing a more in-depth look at the period between 1800-1825 in the straits. Now in Part Two we'll take a look at some of the characters who shaped the area for better or for worse. Kaz and Corey have a look at the divided loyalties of the time through the people who lived through it.
