Tight Lines for Troops Reels in Veterans
Fish was on the menu for several veterans after spending Monday on the water. It was the “Tight Lines for Troops” inaugural charity fishing tournament on Lake Michigan. The goal was to help disabled and paralyzed vets have a little fun. Around 150 people came out to Manistee to reel in some fun. Not only did they catch dinner, they made some new friends. Boat captain and fellow veteran Bob Guenthardt spearheaded the idea to honor the men and women that risked their lives for our freedom. Organizers say it took the whole community to put this event together, and they hope to make this an annual event. Fox 32's Jodi Hathaway and photojournalists Stefanie Adkins and Jordan Nagel have the story.
