Northern Michigan High School Going Paperless
In Project Green, a Northern Michigan high school is going paperless. Manistee High School says they've been working toward the switch for a while. Next year, almost every student at the high school will use a laptop computer or Apple iPad instead of notebooks and textbooks. Students will submit all of their papers and assignments online. Every classroom will also be hooked up to one of these projectors, for classroom learning. The school says they made going paperless a priority. They believe it can save the district $100,000 in supplies, paper, and textbooks over the next few years.
