Local Charter Fishing Businesses are Sinking

It's a past-time that people of all ages enjoy and many look forward to once the frozen lakes melt away. Charter fishing raises the bar when it comes to the fishing hobby. But a recent report shows there's been a 12 percent drop in people taking charter fishing trips in Ludington last year. Charter captains say the peak time for charter fishing is the end of July to Labor Day. They hope to see business pick up soon. 9&10's Cali O'Rourke and photojournalist Joel Deaner spoke to local charters today to see why they're slowly sinking.
