Grand Vision Looking For Individual Efforts

The Grand Vision is taking a smaller approach. Tonight a Citizen Action Expo in Traverse City encouraged people to start making individual changes to work toward their vision for the future. Hundreds came out to the Hagerty Center this evening to learn about “action for tomorrow.” Leaders of the Grand Vision say it's important not to rely on government to implement the vision. They say it comes down to citizens making changes on an individual basis. Groups worked together tonight to brainstorm things they can do now to get where they want in the future. The Grand Vision will hold similar expos in each of the six counties involved over the next few months. Erika Waddell and photojournalist Justin DePrekel have the story.
