Bar Stabbing Leaves Man Seriously Hurt
A stabbing outside a Northern Michigan bar left one man in the hospital and another in jail. Police say the victim underwent surgery and will live. The bar stabbing happened around 2 AM Sunday morning in Manton in Wexford County. Police say a stabbing this extreme doesn't happen very often in the community. Police tell 9&10 News the investigation is still in its earliest stages. They are interviewing witnesses, trying to piece together exactly what happened and why. Daniel Raney is charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, less than murder. He faces up to ten years in prison. 9&10's Alex Jokich and photojournalist Stephanie Adkins have more details after investigating this story.
