MDOT Releases Latest Bridge Safety Information

Michigan bridges were recently inspected, now the question is–where's the money to fix them? MDOT just updated how safe the state's bridges are. The Clare County Road Commission and MDOT both work hand-in-hand in funding bridge repairs. Even though funding is running low, they've been able to keep most bridges in safe condition. The road commission says two Clare County bridges that are structurally deficient will be fixed by this fall. 9&10's Cali O'Rourke and photojournalist Joel Deaner were in Clare County today, which is home to several of Michigan's structurally deficient bridges, they have more information on how MDOT and the county plan to pay for the fixes.
