Its been a rough couple years for the auto industry, as yet another Northern Michigan dealership is closing for good. A representative from Ford says Phillips Ford in Mecosta County is no longer with the automaker and that the dealer closed the business on Wednesday. 9&10 News has tried to contact the owner several times, but did not receive a response. There was an empty lot when we were at the dealership Thursday. It is unclear if the used car dealership is closing, but Ford says they won't be sending any new cars.
