A tight-knit Northern Michigan community is mourning the loss of two young men who died in a car accident. Police say the car the young men were driving crossed the center line and hit an oncoming truck. The accident happened Wednesday afternoon on 13 Mile Road between US-31 and Chief Road in Pleasanton Township in Manistee County. Dillon Doorneweerd was a junior at Brethren High School. Thomas Walters graduated from the same school in the Class of 2007.
