Mackinac County Tavern Helps Catch Man Accused of Embezzlement

A northern Michigan Tavern owner helped lead police to a downstate man who's now accused of embezzlement and insurance fraud. The Bob-Lo Tavern on Bois Blanc Island was supposed to be covered by insurance from a provider out of South Lyon, MI. But the owner of the tavern told troopers she just realized though she had been paying thousands of dollars for insurance, which wasn't actually being put towards coverage. David Grimes Jr., from Linden turned himself into police for the crimes. He could spend five years in prison if he's found guilty.
