Firefighters are trying to determine the cause of a fire in Leelanau County. The fire happened around three-thirty Monday afternoon at a summer home in Cherry Homes Subdivision in Leelanau Township near Northport. Firefighters say the fire started in the kitchen. They say the home suffered extensive smoke damage.
