Lawmakers React to the High and Low Points of State of the State
The Governor has laid the framework to start rebuilding the state's economy from the ground up. Governor Granholm announced her ideas Wednesday night during her final State of the State address. The speech was built around the theme of crossing into the new, broader Michigan economy. The focus was clear: jobs. The Governor said the word a total of 56 times during the speech and detailed some of her ideas to help with the creation of jobs by going to the root of the problem. 9&10's Ryan Raiche and Photojournalist Joel Deaner were at the Capital for the speech to get reaction from northern Michigan lawmakers.
