Osceola County Purchases Three New Patrol Cars

A check from the USDA allowed the Osceola County Sheriff's Department to buy three new patrol cars. The Sheriff's Department in Reed City says they're excited about being able to buy a new Ford Explorer and two new Dodge Chargers. The check was for $21,000. The undersheriff says maintaining their old Police Cars was expensive and they weren't as safe in bad weather or on rural roads. He also says this is something that will improve their performance in the community.
