Judge Orders Psychiatric Evaluation in Antrim County Murder Trial

The psychiatric evaluation of the Antrim County mother accused of killing her teenage son could take up to three months. A judge ordered the evaluation on Anne Avery-Miller Wednesday. Last month, a judge decided there was enough evidence to take the case to trial. Prosecutors say Avery-Miller shot and killed her 16 year old son, Sam Avery, in 2007 in their Elk Rapids home. The defense says Sam was depressed and took his own life.
