She's the queen of media, and they're the king of pies at least in our opinion. The Grand Traverse Pie Company got a mention from Oprah. The company was mentioned in the February issue of “O” magazine. The article focused on foods you can find on the internet, and featured a picture of the pies made in Traverse City. Also, this weekend, the company made it into USA Today as one of the top ten places to have a slice on national pie day. The Grand Traverse Pie Company started in northern Michigan and now has 17 locations in Michigan and Indiana.
