A $450,000 grant from the U-S-D-A will help create between 25 and 50 jobs in Benzie County. The agency presented the village of Honor with a development grant to improve groundwater quality. The money will be used to upgrade the village's sewer system. The village president says waste lifts have a life-span of twenty years. They've been using their current lifts for almost forty years. This money will fund new pumps, basic controls, and electrical plans. The village plans to break ground in the spring.
