Isabella County Apartments Focus on Student Safety

One phase down and two more to go for apartment managers near Central Michigan University who are working to make student living safer. Eleven Mt. Pleasant complexes are working on the Sheriff's Department's crime-free multi-housing program. It's designed to reduce crime and drug use on apartment properties where many students live. The managers were handed awards Tuesday for completing phase one. To finish the program, complexes must update safety and security features along with managers meeting and greeting residents and deputies.
