Thin Ice Warning in Grand Traverse County
The Grand Traverse Sheriff's Department says the ice may not be as safe as it looks. They've issue an ice warning for the area. They say warmer than usual temperatures could be extremely dangerous for anyone who plans to head out on the lakes. The Sheriff's Dept. says it's important to take the proper precautions, including testing the ice every few feet and bringing along a life jacket.
