Tip Up Town Carving Out 60 Years

If anything lasts for sixty years it generally becomes an institution. Tip Up Town USA in Houghton Lake is celebrating its diamond anniversary this year and has certainly attained the “institution” status. The annual festival celebrating ice and snow stretches over the last two weekends in January with events like ice fishing, ice skating, entertainment tents, a parade and ice sculpting. Kaz and Corey got the low down on the final preparations for the 2010 Tip Up Town festival Wednesday morning.
