Republican gubernatorial candidates could square off at Central Michigan University in a debate next month. A campus conservative group plans to host the debate February 2nd in Plachta Auditorium in Warriner Hall. The group sent out invitations to candidates last November. So far, the group's president says only State Senator Tom George of Kalamazoo has confirmed. US Representative Pete Hoekstra says he is interested and Attorney General Mike Cox is reviewing his schedule. Both Mike Bouchard and Rick Snyder have not yet confirmed.
