1:00pm Update: Mt. Pleasant Police Reminding People to Lock their Doors

The manhunt continues in Isabella County. Sheriff's Deputies are trying to find a man who they say walked into an apartment complex and sexually assaulted a woman. Police sent out automated phone calls to everyone in the area to remind them to lock their doors, even if they are home, until they can catch the suspect. It happened around 5:30 this morning at a complex on Deerfield Road in Mt. Pleasant. Deputies say the suspect was checking for unlocked doors in several different complexes around the area, had walked into several apartments and ended up sexually assaulting a woman in one of them. The suspect is described as a thin, black male who is about 6'0'' tall with brown hair and wearing a brown or tan colored hooded sweatshirt with pockets in the front. He is in his late teens or early 20's. Northern Michigan's News Leader will bring you continuing coverage tonight on Fox 32 News with the latest on the search.
